Terms & Conditions

Effective date: October 15, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the San Antonio Virtual Security website, the Guard Command HQ guard-management platform, and the San Antonio Virtual Security SMS text alert program. By using any of them, you agree to these Terms.

San Antonio Virtual Security is operated by Joel Galan Jr, DBA San Antonio Virtual Security, of San Antonio, Texas (“SAVS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1.Our Services

San Antonio Virtual Security provides private security guard and patrol services in Texas. We are a licensed security company, and our services are provided under Texas law, including the Texas Private Security Act (Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 1702), and are regulated by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau. Texas DPS Private Security License #B31225001.

These Terms cover our public website, the Guard Command HQ platform used by our clients, security officers, and staff to manage posts, schedules, dispatch, and reporting, and our SMS text alert program described in Section 5. Any separate written agreement for security services between SAVS and a client also applies to that engagement; if a written service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service agreement controls for that engagement.

2.Use of the Website and Platform

The website and the Guard Command HQ platform are provided for the use of our clients, security officers, and staff in connection with our security services. The website, the platform, and all content on them are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We work to keep the platform accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of delays. Information shown in the platform — including schedules, post orders, and reports — is operational information provided for the convenience of authorized users and does not replace direct communication with SAVS management or dispatch.

3.Accounts

Guard Command HQ accounts are issued by SAVS and are for authorized members only — our employees, officers, clients, and staff who have been granted access. Accounts are personal to the individual they are issued to.

  • Do not share your login credentials or allow anyone else to use your account.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify SAVS promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • Access may be suspended or terminated when employment, a contract, or authorization ends, or if these Terms are violated.

4.Acceptable Use

When using the website or the platform, you agree that you will not:

  • Use them for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to access accounts, posts, client information, or areas of the platform you are not authorized to access.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the security or operation of the website or platform.
  • Copy, disclose, or distribute client information, post orders, schedules, or reports outside of your authorized duties.
  • Impersonate another officer, client, or staff member, or submit false information, including false clock-in, location, or incident information.

Information handled through Guard Command HQ may include sensitive operational and client information. Authorized users must handle it only as needed to perform their duties.

5.SMS Terms

San Antonio Virtual Security operates a text alert program through Guard Command HQ (the “Program”). These SMS Terms apply to the Program in addition to the rest of these Terms.

How you opt in. Members opt in to the Program inside the Guard Command HQ app by saving their mobile number in their profile and enabling urgent text alerts. By doing so, you consent to receive text messages from San Antonio Virtual Security at the mobile number you provided.

What the messages are. Program messages are operational only. They include:

  • Clock-in reminders
  • No-show alerts
  • Late clock-in escalations
  • Coverage gaps
  • Dispatch notifications

The Program does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your shift and dispatch activity.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further Program messages unless you opt in again through the Guard Command HQ app. If you stop receiving alerts, you remain responsible for checking the Guard Command HQ app for your schedule, post assignments, and dispatch information.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and device, and alerts should not be relied on as the sole means of receiving time-sensitive dispatch information.

Supported carriers and service availability may change. If your mobile number changes, update it in the Guard Command HQ app so alerts reach the right phone.

6.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, San Antonio Virtual Security, its owner, officers, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website, the Guard Command HQ platform, or the SMS alert program — including damages resulting from delayed, missed, or undelivered messages, platform downtime, or errors in operational information.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in these Terms changes the duties or liabilities established by a separate written service agreement between SAVS and a client.

7.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the website, the Guard Command HQ platform, or the SMS alert program after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. The effective date shown at the top of this page is the date of the current version.
